057: If you can find the time, just be sincere.

Honest: free of deceit and untruthfulness; sincere.

Honesty, the simple act of being forthcoming with pertinent information. Bearing your truths to those of importance when it matters the most. Building trust, whether it be in friendships or relationships. The fear of giving someone all the power so to speak, to entirely break you apart but trusting they won’t. It can truly be a terrifying thing to experience, but a necessary one if you wish you build and grow strong bonds. Something that hasn’t been granted to me often, something I wish everyone around me would do.

Shadows always come out when the light shines and at times, one must be their own light. Casting it in every corner until all is exposed. But what then? What do you do when everything you wanted to know, is right in front of you? When all the information you desired, falls on you like a tumbling stack of boxes in a closet… Emotions, stronger than ever take their place at the forefront. You have choices; relief, anger, happiness, disappointment. Choices. Continue down a path, or turn around and walk away without ever looking back. Intuition. When you knew there was always something blocking the path ahead. Still, you knew God placed this in your path for a reason.

Processing every little detail, combing through them with a fine tooth comb. Analyzing, analyzing… over and over again until your head turns on itself and you get nauseous from the spinning.

You finally know the truth, it was all a lie. From the beginning, you never knew this person. So you run, you run faster than you’ve ever ran before. Finally, the anxiety fades, your heart stops racing. And there it is, right in front of you like it’s been there patiently awaiting your return.

Peace.
