Something so underrated; something lost in this generation of hookup culture and disposable friendships. Loyalty in connections is bare minimum. To have someone you know you can always count on, know that if you call they will always answer. That at any moment they’d be there for you in whatever capacity they can provide. That… That’s loyalty.

A constant in your life, no matter what’s going on you know in your soul they’ll be by your side. It’s crazy to think you’ve been that person. Even when we fell out, even when we didn’t speak, you were still around. Whether I was fully aware of it at the time or not, you always had eyes on me. It brought me a sense of inner peace if I’m being completely honest. Knowing that if danger ever came my way, I was protected. The soul ties never broke, that thread stayed strong- tangled or not. An unbeatable force, withstanding the years that went by. Consistent, present, resilient. Mutual connection and understanding.
